A Healthy and Happy person wants a thousand things, whereas a sick person only wants one thing, whereas a Sick person only wants ONE thing which is to be Healthy and Happy again.
And welcome to another blog on my website. I hope you all doing great considering the rise of Covid cases across the world. Now I had recently gone to India for a vacation and when I came back I got tested Covid positive on the Sharjah airport test.
So in this article, I will go over what I went through in my Covid experience.
How Bad Were my Symptoms?
Now Alhamdulillah I didn't get extreme symptoms partly because I took both the doses of the Pfizer vaccine back in July 2021 and the fact that the Omicron variant (which is the one I probably got) is a little less dangerous compared to the Delta variant. The Omicron variant spreads a lot faster because it has a lot more mutations than the Delta variant but it is not as life-threatening as the Delta variant was.
How Did I Get It?
Well, I did two PCR tests, one in Mumbai which was a day before my flight, and one in the Sharjah airport after landing in Sharjah.
The one in Mumbai came negative but the test that was taken in Sharjah came out to be positive. So I might have caught the virus in India but their PCR wasn’t effective since it takes 2 to 3 days for the virus to get in you before coming positive.
Which Symptoms Did I Get on Which Days?
4th of January: Lots of coughs, extreme weakness, high fever at night.
5th Jan: Had mild fever, mild cough, and weakness.
6th of Jan: Occasional cough and felt slightly better, lost sense of smell and taste.
7th of Jan: Felt a lot better, again occasional cough, runny nose, lost sense of smell, got my sense of taste back tho.
8th of Jan: same condition
9th of Jan: No fever, no cough, very less weakness. got my senses back. Almost recovered symptoms.
10th of Jan: Almost completely recovered.
11th of Jan: Asymptomatic Covid!
Then on the 11th of Jan, I did a PCR test which then came out to be positive AGAIN.
Then we took another PCR test on the 14th of Jan which then finally came out to be negative.
In my Next Article,
I will go over some tips and tricks that you can use to recover fast from Covid so stay tuned.
